We are currently looking for qualified Registered Nurses to help expand the clinical team at our home health organization. Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions are available throughout much of our service area including Saginaw, Bay, Huron, Tuscola, Sanilac, and St. Clair counties.
A successful applicant must be comfortable with in-home direct patient care and have a passion for improving the lives of the sick, elderly, and disabled. RNs work as part of an interdisciplinary team to satisfy the medical needs of clients in the comfort of their own homes. Duties may include, but are not limited to, making in-home care visits, med setups, wound care, disease process teaching, coordinating with other disciplines and physicians, taking direction from the agency DON, supervising agency LPNs, and completing OASIS documentation. Applicants must have a current Michigan active license as a registered nurse. Experience in the home care field is greatly encouraged, but not required. This position requires a great degree of multi-tasking, organizational skills, effective written and oral communication skills, and the ability to analyze and problem solve. All applicants must have the ability to take direction and supervise employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling of work assignments. Hours may include some evenings and occasional weekends. Our agency staffs clients in both urban and rural communities, so occasional travel may be required. Agency vehicles are available to those accepting a full-time field position. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, driven and able to perform in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a great degree of multi-tasking, organizational skills, effective written and oral communication skills, and the ability to analyze and problem solve.
